"Champ? Hardly."
:: BEGIN :: We
open up on what looks to be a replica of a Golden Globe award. The camera pans
zooms back and standing with it in their hands is the lovely Tamara Marie Rose.
She holds the award and an envelope in her hand and as the camera zooms out
enough she gets the biggest fakest looking smile on her face and sets the award
next to her on a mini table. “And
the winner of the ‘worst promo ever in the history of professional wrestling’
goes to…” She pauses and looks down at the envelope in her hand and she begins
to open it and looks back up to the camera with a smile on her face. “Oh well,
no surprise here.” She turns the envelope around we see the name of Flame on
it. “Flame!” She tosses the envelope
away and begins clapping but stops quite abruptly. “This
award, it goes to you Flame for being the most predictable Champion in this
company’s history.” With that being said Tamara picks up the award that is
sitting on the table next to her and throws it on the ground with some force
breaking it. “You actually think you know what it means to be a Champion?
Please… let me tell you something my husband, who unlike yourself actually
knows what it is to be a Champion, has told me numerous times and it’s
something he told me earlier today while I was preparing for these matches.”
She takes a deep breath and moves some of her hair out of her face. “He told me
that the Championship doesn’t make you, you make the Championship. Now, if we
listen to everything that you have said Flame then you think being a Champion
means that you follow in the footsteps of all those that have come before you
and that is just simply the wrong way to think.” “See
I listened to you name off every single woman that has ever held that
Championship you are currently in possession of and while those people might
have been something back say what? Ten years ago? They don’t mean anything to
anyone now. Sure they did great things while they were Champion but they made
the Championship their own and you…” Tamara scoffs at what Flame has become. “You
have tried to become every single one of those women you mentioned and it’s become
quite pathetic. You are the Women’s Impact Champion for crying out loud! Make
up your own identity and quit trying to live up to people’s expectations of who
you should be or what they think a Champion should be because I’m going to tell
you right now…” She smiles as she continues. “The winner of that battle royal
tonight is going to be me. I’m telling you that with all the confidence I have
in my abilities and you rest assured that if you come down that ramp later on
tonight and face me with the same kind of attitude you had when you cut that
ridiculous excuse for a promo I will kick you in the skull and put you down
permanently.” She says with all seriousness. “I
don’t ever want to end someone’s career but I know when people ought to hang it
up and from listening to you say what it is you said it means you are winding
down. When that happens, the new age, the new generation that people around
here are trying to stop? We’re going to finally take over and when that happens…”
She says a little bit laughingly. “When that happens you will get lost in all of
the shuffle going on around here and that’s when I’ll strike.” Tamara
stops laughing. “Tonight after I beat these other bitches who think they have
what it takes to beat you, I am going to walk right down that ramp and beat you
for that Championship and when you finally come to and ask what happened… The
ref is going to look you in the eye and tell you that you just lost your
Championship to the mystery that you couldn’t figure out, Tamara Marie Rose.”
With
that Tamara walks out the frame. :: END :: This has been a 2point0 Productions Feature.
